The sun’s coming out, the events calendar is bursting, and we’re looking for enthusiastic people to join our Purbeck Ice Cream family for the 2025 season. We have a variety of summer seasonal jobs in Dorset. If you love the buzz of a busy event, have a can-do attitude, and maybe even have a soft spot for delicious ice cream (who doesn’t?!), then read on.
Become an events team leader- your summer adventure awaits.
Your We’re searching for 4-5 enthusiastic, full-time seasonal Event Team Leaders to join our team. Imagine driving to exciting venues, setting up our mobile ice cream stands, and leading a small team to serve up smiles and delicious treats. From charming village fairs to prestigious events like the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and Big Feastival, you’ll be at the heart of it all! Goes Here
What’s the Scoop?
- Road Trip! You’ll be driving our event vehicles to the venues.
- Team Leader: You’ll be in charge of a small team, serving up smiles and scoops.
- Cash Handling & Stock: You’ll manage transactions and keep track of our delicious inventory (full training provided).
- Variety is the Spice of Life: From local events to high-profile shows, no two days will be the same.
Weekend work will be involved with this role with some longer events in the schedule too. Our event season runs from Easter through to September.
Who we’re looking for.
- Outgoing and energetic individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for social events and creating a positive customer experience.
- A full driving license is essential.
Behind the Scenes Magic: Part-Time Preparation Team
Prefer to work your magic behind the scenes? We’re also looking for two part-time team members to join our preparation crew. Working mainly Mondays and Tuesdays from May to September, you’ll be responsible for cleaning, prepping, and restocking our fleet of eight event vehicles, ensuring they’re sparkling and ready for the next event. This role would be perfect for self-employed cleaners. A driving license is desirable. This role will be based here on our lovely farm in Corfe Castle.
